A promise to myself

My blog post the other week bought an overwhelming response.  So many people thanked me for being so upfront and honest about everything and said that it helped them in one way or another.  I'm so incredibly happy that it has helped people see that they're not alone in any situation they're facing, or has given them the power to start their journey all over again.

Today, I'm starting my journey over again - with a new promise.

But first, I wanted to be upfront again - so this is me, today.  This is my new 'Before' picture in my journey to health and wellness.

This is the last time I will look like this!! I am determined, and have put a lot of thought into what I wanted to achieve with my new lifestyle and I've decided a few things.

1.  I will always be ME, no matter what.  Hence my gorgeous pink hair!
2.  I'm giving up alcohol - going sober.  I'm aiming for 12 months, but if I stumble at some point, I will NOT kick myself too hard about it - I will pick myself up and continue on with being alcohol free!
3. I am going to do my best, to be my best!
4. I am going to begin meditation.
5. I will go to bed earlier, get a good nights sleep and rise earlier each day.
6. I will drink my Plexus daily.
7.  I will love myself.

I've prepared myself, meal plans written, food prepared.  I'm ready to rock this!
Whose with me?  Lets do this together!

I'm inspired to be inspired.. Excitedly following your journey of growth..
"Learning never ends, we are forever on a Journey of growth. Maybe all the failure and mistakes weren't that, maybe they were just great learning experiences. Perception is everything, what you think your life will be...is what it will be. You can take all your challenges and use them as wonderful learning experiences and can use them to become more understanding of others and of life, more loving and less judgmental. Use them to your advantage, let them teach you instead of letting them weigh you down." Life provides opportunities for change. The decisions are not always easy. Sometimes you may have to choose a challenging path in order to be rewarded in ways you never could have imagined.
Forgiveness is an essential part of growth in life. It is one of the many keys to peace. There are many times in life that not only do we need to forgive others but ourselves as well. We tend to beat ourselves up over and over for decisions that we have made or something that we did to hurt another. Forgiveness of ourselves is just as important as forgiveness of others. It is a must for healing and inner peace.
Take a deep breath and let it go...forgive yourself, you won't be of any good to anyone if you cannot Love and forgive yourself. Rid yourself of the heaviness that you feel in your soul and free yourself of the burden.
I think if I've learned anything about friendship, it's to hang in, stay connected, fight for them, and let them fight for you. Don't walk away, don't be distracted, don't be too busy or tired, don't take them for granted. Friends are part of the glue that holds life and faith together. Powerful stuff.
Proud to call you my friend.. hang in there bec.. <3 YOU GOT THIS!!
